Cityzenith to collaborate on ground breaking Digital Twin endeavor for the $500 million Orlando Sports & Entertainment District

A ground-breaking Digital Twin project by Cityzenith will promote, optimize, and future proof the ambitious $500 million Orlando Sports & Entertainment Smart District (OS+ED), aiming to drive the Florida city’s millions of annual visitors to the downtown hotspot.

In collaboration with SED DevCo LLC (project developer) Cityzenith will promote, optimize, and make future ready the $500 million Orlando Sports & Entertainment District.

This collaborative partnership is deploying a customized and enhanced version of Cityzenith’s award-winning SmartWorldPro2 Digital Twin platform for the first time on a megaproject in the United States.

SmartWorldPro2 integrates all software and services used by anyone designing, constructing, and managing complex, large scale building projects, properties, and real estate portfolios.

The Orlando Sports & Entertainment District is a mixed-use development that will consist of over one millionsquare feet of space adjacent to the Amway Center in downtown Orlando, home to the Orlando Magic NBA basketball team, and one block away from Exploria Stadium, home to Orlando City Soccer of the MLS.  The design includes a 300-key hotel, a 420,000 square foot office tower, a 300-unit residential and co-living tower, a 65,000 square feet multipurpose event and entertainment venue, more than 100,000 square feet of experiential retail and restaurants lining an activated, engaging, inclusive open-air plaza.  The Orlando Sports & Entertainment District will be a fully interconnected community using state-of-the-art IoT, Digital Twin and AI Technologies to support increased quality of life in the neighborhoods just west of Interstate 4, at the Western edge of the Central Business District.

The primary objective of our efforts is to attract tenants and visitors in a safe and secure manner to downtown Orlando venues for a ‘wow, it feels like I’m really there’ 3D immersive experience, delivering an unprecedented wealth of information and connected services.  The pioneering work could also unlock additional contracts for Cityzenith on other SED DevCo-affiliated projects by the end of 2021.
