The Digital Twin Consortium is a global ecosystem comprising industry, government, and academia. It was founded to accelerate the development, adoption, interoperability, and security of Digital Twins and enabling technologies.

Cityzenith hosts a dedicated workshop for Digital Twin Consortium members, ‘Towards Net Zero Cities: Building Back Better with Digital Twins’, which explores the use of Urban Digital Twins to help cities, infrastructure, and buildings and become more efficient and sustainable.

The workshop will run in parallel with Cityzenith’s recently launched ‘Clean Cities - Clean Future’ initiative, and participants will be given the opportunity to observe and get involved with multi-party Digital Twin projects in major American cities, including New York, Phoenix, and Pittsburgh.

Industry Partner

Green Building Alliance (GBA) advances innovation in the built environment by empowering people to create environmentally, economically, and socially vibrant places.

Cityzenith signed an MOU with the Green Building Alliance to co-develop a Digital Twin of the 2030 District area of the City of Pittsburgh, collaborating with local partners including the University of Pittsburgh, the City of Pittsburgh, and local commercial building owners. The project goals include the development of a central repository for all building and infrastructure data, GBA-sanctioned energy assessment tools, and both engineering and financial analytics for property owners in the District.

Industry Partner

2030 Districts are unique private/public partnerships in designated urban areas across North America committed to reducing energy use, water use, and transport emissions.

The New York City 2030 District encompasses areas of Downtown Brooklyn and Lower Manhattan. NYC 2030 District has 21m ft² of properties pledged to the partnership.

Cityzenith is working with New York 2030 District, Agile Fractal Grid, and other partners to develop a Digital Twin mass customization platform at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. The master Digital Twin will seek to offer an end-to-end service from-assessment-to-certification for commercial building owners seeking to transition to net zero emissions or substantially reduce their energy consumption.
